Which Package to Choose?

Here are some anecdotal observations:

Salesforce.com - an 800-pound gorilla because it works -- and extremely easy to configure and manage -- we've had engagements where we nailed down the workflow and requirements in the morning, and had Salesforce.com up & running by afternoon.

Sugar CRM - Open-source -- if you have PHP folks on staff, this may be an easy choice for you.

Entellium - of all the Salesforce.com challengers, this one has some unique advantages.

Dovarri -- forces sales process and steps on the reps -- better suited for high-turnover inside operations  - Hosted or ASP, ideal for mobile applications, .NET based for easy internal integration, and priced for rapid ROI
